Gear reducer box: It is used for connecting motor and screw. Feeder: It is used for feeding mixed PVC resin material into barrel from the hopper on the top of extruder. This device is developing from single screw feeding to parallel screw feeding process. Now more and more PVC pipe making machine manufacturers adopt parallel screw feeding device for avoiding mixed PVC resin crack-bridging while material transported into barrel on the bottom of hopper.

Casting aluminum heater: It is used for heating barrel and screw which ensure mixed PVC resin material can be plasticizing and melting under the suitable temperature when mixed PVC resin material comes into inside of barrel and transported forward by screw.

Cooling fan: It is used for cooling barrel and screw. Due to casting aluminum heater is keeping heating, temperature of screw and barrel will be increasing and if it excess setting temperature, cooling blowers will be started to work for cooling barrel which avoid PVC material resolved in the inside of barrel due to temperature is too high.

Vacuum pump: It is used for sucking the moisture of the mixed PVC resin material which is under suitable temperature from the barrel in order to make sure getting the final PVC pipes better quality.

Hopper: It is used for keep the mixed PVC resin material in the silo and make sure material can be into barrel continuously. It is like a material transport station.

Control Cabinet: It is used for control whole conic double screw extruder running by switches or PLC programs according to different circuits control required.

l  Extrusion Mould & Die Head

Extrusion mould and die head is another important part of PVC pipe production line. Mixed PVC resin material will be forced into extrusion die through connect flange by screw forward transported after plasticizing and melting in the inner side of barrel.

Due to extrusion mould and die head are under heating too and it is still on fluid status after plasticizing and melting in the inner side of barrel on the conic double screw extruder, mixed PVC resin material can be come out from die head easy as people required shape, diameter and thickness.

People can make many different diameters and thickness final PVC pipes with the same extrusion mould body by changing pins and die heads only. It can save much cost of extrusion mould.

Calibrator, which is also called sizer, is made of copper or stainless steel. It is playing important role on shape of PVC pipes and the shine and smooth of the surface of PVC pipes. With separate water cooling system for cooling, the calibrator can get the better shaping effects on the PVC pipes.

l  Vacuum Calibrating Cooling Tank

Vacuum calibrating cooling tank is mainly used for cooling hot PVC pipes which is from extrusion mould die. It consists of tank body, vacuum pump, water pump, water spray nozzles system, temperature of water control system.

Tank body is made by stainless steel because of there is water inside of tank and it is should be anti-rust. Length of tank is must be enough to cooling down the temperature PVC pipes when PVC pipe come out from tank. Length of tank is 6 meters or 9 meters according to diameter and thickness of PVC pipes.

Vacuum pump is used for sucking the air from the closet cooling tank, which can keep shape of PVC pipes, is round and surface of PVC pipes is smooth and shine.

Water pump is used for supply cooling water continuously for cooling PVC pipes and make sure that temperature of PVC pipe is down.

Water spray system is used for transporting cold water from water pump to each stainless steel water pipes and spraying cold water on the surface of PVC pipes for reduce the temperature of PVC pipes through the many spray nozzles which are connecting the holes on the stainless steel water pipes that around the inner side of tank.

Temperature of water control system is used for changing circuit water in time. As we know, after running some time, the temperature of water in the tank will be rising due to cold water take the heat quantity from hot PVC pipes and cooling efficiency will be down. So control system will start to drain the hot water from tank body and supply new cold water into tank body automatically when temperature of water reach to setting temperature value.

l  Haul-off Unit Machine/ Traction Machine

Haul-off unit machine/ traction machine is main used for clamping and pulling the PVC pipe forward a long length at a constant speed through rubber pad which located on each pedrail.

It consists of driving motor, pedrail/ pulling belt, air cylinder, and rubber pad. According to PVC pipe diameter range, haul-off unit machine will be equipped 2, 3, 4, 6, 8 or 10 pedrails/pulling belts for make sure traction force is enough to pull PVC pipe forward.

Pedrails/pulling belts are located under the extrusion axis, which are mechanically adjustable and upper ones are driven by pneumatically.

Special silicon rubber pad on each pedrail/pulling belt is soft and anti-wear, which make sure pedrails do not damage PVC pipes and there is no marks on the surface of PVC pipes.

l  Cutter Machine

Cutter machine is used for cutting PVC pipes automatically by PLC controller according to setting length. Working principle is that there are clamps which controlled by air cylinder for clamping PVC pipes first, then blades which on one movable plate start to cutting PVC pipe, meanwhile movable plate be start to moving forward along the guide rail and keep the same speed with extrusion line speed , because PVC pipe is continuous extruding and not stopping.

According to diameter range of PVC pipes, there are chip-free type cutter, guillotine type cutter and planetary type cutter as options. Each type cutter with its special features for ensures it is right type for some PVC pipe diameter ranges.

Planetary cutter is delivered as a single cut unit and used for cutting PVC pipes out diameter over 110mm with chamfer function. It consist of oil pump station, driving motor, rotary bearing, clamps, blower, air cylinder, guide rail and moveable plate. Oil pump is used for offer enough pressure to ensure push blade touch the around surface of pipes. There are two driving motors on this machine, one motor is used for cutting and chamfer function, another motor is used for driving rotary bearing for keeping blade around pipes.

Stacker is used for stock final PVC pipes according to its diameter range. It consists of air cylinder, wheel and steel frame.

l  Belling machine 

PVC Pipe Belling machine is used for belling PVC pipes and make sure two PVC pipes can be connected in the constructions. It consist of transfer system, heating system, belling system, cooling system and control system. 

PVC pipe belling machine also named PVC pipe socketing machine which is belling machine is a method of forming a socket at the heated end of PVC pipe, an end of PVC pipe on which a socket is to be formed is heated until it is in a deformable state, inserted in a forming chamber and formed into a socket shape.

PVC pipe belling machine is normally installed downstream of a pipe extrusion line and receives from the latter the cut pipes to be machined. Belling machines usually comprise a machining head equipped with at least one oven for heating the end of the pipe on which the socket must be formed, and a forming station which uses a suitable mould to form the heated end of the pipe into a socket. The socket is also usually cooled in the forming station. Cooling may take place simultaneously with and/or after socket forming. When the socket has reached a temperature close to ambient temperature, the socket is removed from the mould and the pipe which has already undergone the belling process is unloaded from the machine.
